Changes are coming on Dead by Daylight starting with Project W chapter:
- The cost of nodes within the bloodweb has been reduced by 33%: for example ultra rare items will now cost 5000 BP and not more than 7000.
- The duration of 'Haste' and 'Endurance' effects to unhooked survivors will be increased to 10 seconds and the Haste effect to 10% increased speed (from 7%) will also be increased.
- Mettle of Men perk will no longer cause the Endurance status effect to appear in the HUD when activated.
- The collision problems of Albert Wesker have been solved.
- Albert Wesker will now hit survivors with his tentacles if they’re caught in the middle of a vault.
- Albert Wesker’s speed between the bounds increased by 2.76m/s.
- Reassurance cooldown has been removed and can now be used once per hook istance.
- Removed the lingering aura reading from Awakened Awareness perk. As a result, Lethal Pursuer will no longer extend the duration of Awakened Awareness aura reading.
- Low Profile perk changed, it will activate any time you are the only survivor who is not dying, hooked, or dead as well, allowing it to activate throughout the match. Additionally, Low Profile will also mask your grunt of pain in addition to its existing effects.
- Better Than New perk no longer has a duration. Instead survivors keep this bonus until the next time they take damage, and now grants a 12%/14%/16% action speed bonus to healing, chest opening, and totem cleansing & blessing.
- Decrease pallets within the Raccoon City map.
All these changes will be available within the update that will bring Project W to Dead by Daylight with Albert Wesker, Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers.
