And gamers around the world were saddened by the news of what was a dead game through no fault of the developers (or at least not entirely, as the game initially had serious balancing problems anyway).
But like a bolt out of the blue, comes the news that a new Friday the 13th game is in development!
But let’s go in order: Rely On Horror interviewed composer Harry Manfredini, who worked on the original saga and also on the 2017 game, and revealed that after working on the game by Gun Media and Illfonic, he will be working on a new game dedicated to Friday The 13th, developed by a different company than the one that worked on the previous game about Jason Voorhees.
Unfortunately, the details at the moment are very few because Manfredini himself has obviously admitted that it has not been announced yet and that he knows very few details, apart from a very interesting one: the characters will be more realistic than the last game, that is, the game itself will have a different style than the other one.
This is very interesting, because it means that the game will therefore look more realistic, probably similar to the new game Texas Chainsaw Massacre in which the characters look very realistic:
At the moment, as mentioned above, details are very few as well as the genre of the game and the platforms on which it will be released, however if there are any updates on this I will keep you updated as always.
