There are news coming within Dead by Daylight.
Memento Mori has always been one of the most interesting animations to see when a new chapter is released, especially because it is closely related to the lore and power of that particular killer, but until now the Mori could only be seen if someone used the offer dedicated to him or used one of the perks that allowed the use of it under certain conditions.
The Dead by Daylight development team is therefore working on a new mechanics called 'Finishing Mori': By the time there’s only one survivor alive on the map, and everyone else is hooked, dead, or escaped, the 'Last Standing' phase will be activated by granting the survivor and killer a wider field of view.
By the time the last survivor is landed by the killer, they will both be teleported to a preset point on the map and Mori’s animation will be activated, then automatically all other survivors who are still in the game (if they are on the hook, on the ground, etc.) will be sacrificed by the entity.
The 'Last Standing' phase ends if the last survivor manages to save one of the other survivors still alive (if any).
To cope with the abuse of the slugging killers, voluntarily leaving everyone on the ground to activate the 'last standing' as soon as possible, was given the opportunity to all survivors to rise from the ground after 45 seconds without the need for any dedicated perk.
This leads to changes even within some Perks:

This leads to changes even within some Perks:
- The ability to pick yourself up has been removed from Unbreakable, Soul Guard, No Mither, and Boon: Exponential, as this is now part of the base kit.
- The ability to Mori Survivors has been removed from Rancor and Hex: Devour Hope, as this is now part of the base kit.
- The ability to Mori Survivors has been removed from Rancor and Hex: Devour Hope, as this is now part of the base kit.
- Unbreakable: Now increases dying self-recovery speed by 80/90/100%.
- Rancor: Once all generators are powered, the Obsession’s aura is revealed for 5 seconds, and they are permanently inflicted with the Exposed Status Effect.
- Hex: Devour Hope: Once 5 tokens have been earned, any Survivor placed on a hook is instantly sacrificed.
Even the Mori offerings will change, in fact will become offers that will give bloodpoints based on how many survivors killed before executing the Mori on the last survivor:
- Cypress Memento Mori: Gain 8,000 Bloodpoints if at least 2 Survivors are killed and the match ends in a Finishing Mori.
- Ivory Memento Mori: Gain 12,000 Bloodpoints if at least 3 Survivors are killed and the match ends in a Finishing Mori.
- Ebony Memento Mori: Gain 20,000 Bloodpoints if at least 4 Survivors are killed and the match ends in a Finishing Mori.
