Many news are coming on Dead by Daylight but let’s start from the one I told you a short time ago: the Red Forest realm will undergo a graphic update, as I anticipated a while ago observing the model of Huntress that had been changed:




And then finally coming a feature that I personally wanted inside the game many years ago: there will be a system that will avoid users playing twice inside the same map, then inside a lobby will be calculated maps that those 5 players (the four survivors + the killer) played in the previous game, and will be chosen a map that none of the five users played previously.
There are also improvements for bots that can now be customized with items, offers, and even improved their AI, for example they are more active in finding a totem, they will be braver in saving someone hanging on the hook, are more responsive to the various powers of the various killers (for example they will disarm the traps of the Trapper if they encounter one), and many other improvements.
There are also updates to some Perks:
- Eruption:
Eruption will now cause the generator to lose 10% of its current progress, not total. This means the effect will be less severe on generators with less progress, but more impactful on generators that are nearly completed. Second, Eruption will no longer apply the Incapacitated effect to Survivors who were repairing the generator when it exploded. Instead, Survivors who are actively working on the generator will scream and reveal their aura to the Killer for 10 seconds. Not only will this make the perk less frustrating for solo players, but it will also give the Killer crucial information on the other Survivors’ whereabouts so they can attempt to interrupt them.
- Any Means Necessary:
To give this perk a slight boost, we have removed its cooldown entirely. Survivors running this perk can now reset a dropped –yet unbroken– pallet whenever they have the chance! Killers will want to keep an eye out for pallets mysteriously resetting and be extra vigilant when it comes to breaking them.
It also expanded the development team’s production capacity to release more cosmetics to the characters, as they realized that the community is disappointed that some characters receive more cosmetics than others. Finally, there are also news on the front of cheats, because it has been expanded the team that works to prevent users can cheat within the game, In fact, a new Team Lead has joined the team that works to prevent this kind of problems within Dead by Daylight.
